Leaf Springs

my poor front leaf springs are severely upside down due to that heavy ole 7.3 weighing on it for 300,000 miles. Has anyone replaces their front leaf springs? I am looking for a recommendation on the brand I buy. I don't want to muck with ad-a-leafs and I don't want a lift kit spring.

I too have been wanting to replace/add to mine, but other people have pointed out that our 4x4 idfs trucks don't have much angle to the springs as-is; it's normal for them to be pretty flat. Just what I've heard.

F250 or 350? The f250 TTB will have a negative arch to it even if it is new. It's just they way they sit. I did mine as well. Got my springs from ATS online. Easy to install and comes with U bolts, bushings and bolts. I think I paid around $250 all said and done. While you got it apart it's a good time to inspect your front shackle bushings as well

Yup; they all do that. It's just how they are designed - It sure doesn't look like there was a lot of clearance to do it with a positive arch.

Indeed D50 TTB springs have a nagative arch, D60 springs have a very slight positive arch but sit nearly flat with weight on them. You may or may not have worn out springs.
