No console in my truck, so once I scrape up some extra $$$ I'll probably go with the Weathertechs. I like the one piece design. With six grandkids ranging in age from 12 to 2, I need all the protection I can get, lol!
I have the Michelin Edgeliners in my SD. They are pricey, but well worth it.
I also have the center console so they work well.
I would recommend them over the weathertech if you have the console.
I lean very much toward agreeing with you. If I had a console, and therefore had to get 2+ pieces for the front, the groove depth and design on the Michelins looks awfully hard to beat. If Michelin would/could produce a 1-piece offering for non-console models, they would win all of the things.
