Well, it sits under the turbos. So those have to come off. And, depending on who you talk to, the cab has to be raised. Now folks have done it with the cab still on the truck.
I lifted my cab 6 inches (with all the proper disconnects) to do a rocker job and it looked like there would be plenty of room to pull the turbos and hpfp.
but....the turbos are pretty heavy and you might need one of those 179 harbor freight cranes...AND...if I were to pull th HPFP, I would unbolt it while I was under the truck .
so lift the cab, and then put the truck on jack stands. I put a squre cut 4X4 plus 2X4 inbetween each of the body mount points so that th body doesn't drop while I was working on it.
