Hi
I have an 08 f250. Just had ford install a new oem 6.4 engine. The problem is it regens every time I drive the truck. Have had it back to ford a couple of times. Installed new DPF but still regens constantly never stops. I have tried driving it for 50 or 60 miles on highway just never stops. Any idea's? Ford had none.

Are there any codes?
Prior to my truck becoming an off-road race truck, I monitored the re-generation. It seemed to follow a very consistent pattern as if it was comparing Exhaust Back Presure Sensor to the DPF Back Presure Sensor, you might consider replacing those two sensors.
EGT probes??? If one of the kids went bad, that would send it into regen space. What does your truck idle at? As Copper said, without it throwing a code...........We're lost.
