I'm guessing you're asking about parking brakes? If so, I am going to use these Lokar pieces. A little spendy, but looks like a simple solution.

Below axle

My 2001 Explorer rear is above the springs. My springs are Pathfinder leafs. Explorer axle is thicker than stock axle. Mine sits lower than liked due to front end being MII IFS so needed to mount axle above springs. Drop is 4-5 inches but no C notch and no raised bed.

The second link looks like all the right parts for an 8.8" axle. But the first doesn't seem to apply to our trucks. Did you check with Lokar?

I haven't spoken to anyone at Lokar, but it appears to me it will work.

The angle is different, but the operation looks the same. The large clevis goes in the top hole of the handle and the cable and lock nut go through the perpendicular hole at the bottom. I might be missing something (it wouldn't be the first time!)

I'm not running a parking brake at the moment. When I get closer to finishing, I plan on using an E-Stopp kit. I'll fab or piece together what I need to make it work.

Ouch! That's pretty pricy. I do like the idea of an electric e-brake though.

for parking brake I got a second "short" ebrake cable from an explorer at the wrecking yard. I think the short one is the drivers side. Then installed a short one on both sides and made a trapeze link to connect the end of the stock parking brake cable to the pair of e-brake cables.

Pictures tomorrow

I can post pictures tomorrow, I have the gas tank out so I will be under the truck tomorrow morning. I used the emergency brake cables on the Explorer rear, and transitioned them to the stock linkage.

I used the Pathfinder leaf springs because my stock spring bushings were ovalled out. The Pathfinder springs are pretty much the same length and height as the stock springs.

Here are a couple pictures from my build. If you need more let me know.

Regarding C notch, I have a 2" deep C notch but the top of the pumpkin hits the bottom of the bed before the axle bottoms out. Still, I suppose the C notch is still useful if loaded going around a corner and the load is pushing one side down more that the other.

unloaded the top of the pumpkin is about 3 inches from the bottom of the bed. That's with 5 leaf springs, reverse eye, front hanger turned upside down, and the spring arch is 3.5 inches from bottom of perch to centerline of eyes. I do not know what the K factor is for my springs but maybe I could figure it our if I measured with it loaded.

So, not that it matters because there is probably no one with this exact setup.

And a photo of my setup. One with the old 3 leaf springs and before I redid the shock mounts (note the bend at the rear end of the main leaf to lower the ride height) and one of the redone shock mounts.

one more thing, my ride height unloaded is about 28 inches from the ground to the inside of the fender opening. I really need to get a bettor photo. Photo added.

Rear suspension height with about 40 psi in the air shocks. Maybe a half inch less with no pressure in the air shocks.
