Recently my heater core popped and sprayed all over the cab, I filled the radiator and double checked the problem.
Anyway, I like my heater and I want to replace the heater core so I can cruise around at night again...
I have a 1977 F150 with 351M 4 speed and air conditioning, I think I have AC (It doesn't work, but I have a pump and the vents for it)
I have removed the 3 bolts from the engine compartment, unplugged the wires, disconnected the cables, and wiggled that thing until I was ready passout (using prybars and all leverage I could get)
any tips? It doesn't wanna come out, Here are some photos....
Please help...

I have a 1977 F150 with 351M 4 speed and dealer installed Economy A/C (It doesn't work, but I have a pump and the vents for it).
1973/79 F100/350 & 1978/79 Bronco heater core used with dealer installed Economy A/C is the same as with heater only.
Dealer installed Economy A/C has two A/C switches that fit into a panel that also contains two registers. This panel fits into the dash to the left of the glove box (as pictured above).
So I know I had troubles getting mine out before. So I decided to go look at it. It looks like there may be a screw in the bottom left corner towards the driver side. Also, there is several screws holding the "human operated vent" to the main heater box. I apparently had to get all those screws out and when I put it back in I left the top 2 out because there was no easy way to get to them. I got an AC system like that out of a parts truck one time and I think it was a complete separate "black box" that went in the hole above the normal heater box and behind the glove compartment.
Maytea is correct. In addition to the dash bolt by the pass. door there is one by the ash tray that I had to remove and if needed one over by the driver's door. Keep after it and good luck!!
