3 point seat belts and seats for a 73

Hey Guys, the truck is coming along but I want to add so safety by added 3 point belts but I don't have a place to mount the shoulder belt in the cab. Did any of you try do this and if so what did you do and where did you get your belts. Thanks in Advance

I am also looking to redo my bench seat. I know I could go up to a 96 seat but I can't find anything in good condition in GA that wasn't priced too high.

Lasermike did an excellent write up for his shoulder belt mount. Here is mine:

His would be easier to get the materials needed. As for your seat, what did you have in mind? Re-upholster? You may wish to keep looking and find one that is in OK shape and re-upholster that one. This way, you can score on the style you want.

The SuperCab gets new seatbelts
Only regret I have is I think I should have put the upper mount an inch or 2 higher on the B pillar.

.
At the right and left upper corners of the cab are rubber plugs, when removed, this is where the optional shoulder straps were installed.

Was this for a regular cab only? I did not have these in my SC.

There wouldn't be rubber plugs in the cab corners for the front seat shoulder straps in a Super or Crew Cab.

The plugs will only be found in 1967/76 Regular Cabs.

The '74 SuperCab has a plug that looks like it's be in a useful spot but it's for a piece of trim on the outside.

The hardware kit is less than $10 from nearly all the seat belt vendors so no need to machine parts unless you want to.
