Maybe this has been asked before, but I searched the internet couldn't find an answer and even contacted Ford at Dearborn and their "out of the country" phone answerers were of no use either. I was wondering if any of you could give an explanation of the duplication or overlap of the packages so that what packages would you order to get the beefiest suspension and electrical?

Camper Package
Heavy Service Package
Stabilizer Package
Suspension Package, Heavy Service
TowCommand Package
Snow Plow Package


It seems that a number of these have some of the same features but not all the other has and so forth. I wish there was a chart available that showed exactly what they all contained and compared them against each package. In my case I have the Camper package, 9600# GVWR package, Tow Command Package. The 9600 GVWR is not a package you can order I believe, because it is no charge, but I think ordering one or two of what I have brings it up to that. Also, what would it take to bring my unit up to the 10,000 GVWR package? Does Ford still offer the "Northland Package"? I asked my Ford dealer if they made two different size radiator and he didn't believe so. Thanks for your patience with this question as it is confusing and may take a lot to decipher it.

 

My advice is go to the www.fordvehicles.com website and choose the Superduty 'build your truck' section and then choose each of the option packages you mentioned above and the computer will tell you what you get with each package.
