Hey guys, I am usually hang out in the 7.3 section, as that's what my truck is. At work, we have two 6.0 trucks and one is having issues. A couple days ago it started to have white smoke like crazy upon startup, and when you slowed down you could see smoke, any speed and it dispersed so it was not noticeable. It got worse very rapidly and I haven't ha. A chance to work on it, it's also burning antifreeze, that's what the smoke is. Recently the egr started to act up so I cleaned it and the code for a sticky egr went away. It came back after a few months so I cleaned it, it went away for a few days then came on with the symptoms I just described. It has been moved at work a couple times the last few days, but not driven. Today I had to move it and it would not start, no white smoke either while cranking. I read the codes and this is what it has:
P0674- cylinder 4 glow plug control
P0404- EGR control circuit range/performance
P0299- turbo underboost
P0403- EGR control circuit
P0405 EGR sensor A circuit low
I am not and expert, but I would say it's a head gasket or EGR cooler, no? Can anybody shed light on this? What course would I take to find out what's wrong?
The he truck in question is a 2006 F350 SRW King ranch. It has 115k on it, and the majority are work miles pulling trailers.
Yesterday when I got to work, the truck decided it wanted to start, so who knows. At the end of the day I parked it nose down and I just pulled the egr valve out, it's saturated with oil on the valve, and in the intake.

If you are losing coolant and it's not being pushed out of the degas bottle and you say its smoking white and it smells like coolant i would lay money on it being an EGR cooler.
No. The oil is probably from the crank case ventilation or possibly from the turbo seal. Normally a turbo seal leaks into the exhaust side cause huge plums of smoke. You can pull the charge side of the intake, turbo to intercooler and check for oil there.
