I fried my MSD, and was looking around at alternatives. I was wondering if anyone has tried one of these.
BTW, I know that MSD is now made in China, as are the DUI modules. I think long life electronic goods are fading into the sunset.

All the reviews on Summit seem positive except for a racer who is running points and mentions he can't find good condensors... I'd be blaming the condensor not the ignition.
I'd certainly buy one if I was in the market.

what do you need from the ignition?timing retard?rev limiter ?or just good reliable high powered spark?The truth is most boxes such as this have a hard time beating a duraspark box or a gm hei module in normal driving.I personally use an accel 300+ box with an external control on my race car and love it. It has rpm window switch built in, built in 2 step, boost retard capabilities, start retard etc. Unfortunately only available used now as accel is no longer making ignitions but if you can find one the work great.

The difference between using an MSD 6a and a GM 4pin is night and day.
