Truck shut down while driving
So I am out of town about 120 miles from home on a job. I was driving down the mountain road to the store and my tuck just shut down. Lucky for me I was able to get into a turn out. So I try to start the truck and it will not fire. I check for codes I am getting p2614, p2617 so I was able to clear the codes and get back to the house I am staying in. What is going on with my tuck. Oh ya the code did not come back on in the 15 min drive to the house.

P2614 P2617 cam/crank sensor. Check sensor wiring you probably have a short. You can wiggle around the drivers side wiring harness and it will go away until it shorts again and it may not do it again.

It is in the same harness. When you did the work on it you pinched or knocked something loose. Just check FICM plugs. By it cranking back up it tells me something is loose. Sensors are still good.

excessive cranking will throw cam and crank codes. When the truck shut down, do you remember if the wait to start light cycled on like when you turn the key on? Also do you get a fan speed sensor input or is it 0?
