Running light conversion

I seen someone had converted their front amber running lights into clear driving lights. Anyone got the scope on how to do that or is it just changing bulbs?

I'm guessing you've seen where someone has installed projectors in their headlights. Much more involved than a bulb swap. Tons of write ups available on it though if you search.

Sounds like, at minimum, a headlight housing swap. The question is still a bit vague though, so perhaps you could elaborate a little bit? Maybe even dig up a picture?
