question for you. a friend of mine has got white marks (from shaving cream at his wedding, 2 years ago) on the 2 black wheather strips where his sliding back windows meet. it's on a Dodge 2500. Sorry guys, i said the D-word in here! is there anything he can do short of painting over it?
buy and use some 3M compound. Unfortunately, if the shaving cream went through the clearcoat, he will have it forever. but it will look better after using the 3M compund available at any good auto store. Go Aweigh2452's suggestion, and it doesn't work for him, I've used the colored adhesive tapes that the collision shops use, when trim pieces can't be located or even found. 3M makes them as well. On black trim, I've used electrical tape as a temp solution until I either paint it over or get the trim. Hey, Post some pics of your rig! It sounds great! Talk with you guys later....
