Monthly emails

About every month I get a bunch of emails showing updates for the threads that I've participated in. I don't want that. I set up my account for "no email notification " thinking that would fix it. See below.
Whats up?

I actually have not ever purposefully subscribed to any thread. (Except for one very recently that I was interested in.)
But over the years I have gotten emails about basically almost every thread that I've made a post/reply.

Joshua you're gonna have to go into your user control panel and unsubscribe from all of the threads that you inadvertently subscribed to. Those are what's triggering the emails.

Jose, if he went to his User CP, clicked "View All Subscribed Threads"...

...and then cleared the subscriptions folder by clicking "Empty Current Folder"...

...would that do a mass "unsubscribe" for all of his threads?

Maybe I don't fully understand the "subscribe" feature.

I usually browse the mobile site, and at the top left there is a thing I click that pulls down a menu of choices where I can click "subscriptions", and it shows me which threads have been updated since my last visit. It seems to only show me the ones I have participated in.

That feature is is vital for me.

What at I don't want is the 15-20 emails every week (month?) showing me the same (seemingly the same) information.

I just want the emails to stop.

do you get 9,655 emails every week? Your picture above seems to indicate that you have that many subscribed threads.

I only get emails for the threads that get new responses. So if each one of those 9,655 threads suddenly had new posts, then yes, I would get emails for each thread.

So everyone that subscribes to threads will get email updates for those threads? Even though we use the User control panel to choose "do not send emails"

?
