truck stalls out and cranks hard for 7-10 seconds before starting if I don't let it warm up adequately before I start driving. Transmission is hesitant to shift. Also, white smoke comes out exhaust if it's cold and I get in the throttle too much or if I hit 70+mph. Thoughts on issues?

These trucks are cold blooded, they will not do anything well, until warmed up. nature of the beast.....

Could be the glow plug relay is dead. Next cold start hold a big screwdriver across the big terminals on the GPR. That will energize the GPs. And give you a nice zap if you're not careful. Hold for 30 seconds before starting. Should make a big difference if that is the problem.
