DIY innercooler kits?
im running TP38's on an old school 4x im building.
to be more precise, im using 2 of the OBS turbos.
I need to plumb these into my intake with thoughts of innercooling it later.
but I cant seem to find a few parts I need.
im looking for the flange that gets clamped to the turbo that's part of the intake Y.
but id like just to have the flange itself.
you can see I have cut this piece off of a Y I already had.
but looking for something a little cleaner.
also looking for just the flange for the downpipes.
does anyone have any recourses for these items?
id greatly appreciate it!
I'd just make what you want. That way, well, it's exactly what you want.
I've made the outlet flanges before, take a big washer, make it the OD you want, torch out the ID, weld a pipe to it. Same approach with exhaust flange. I know what you mean by wanting nice manufactured parts to make a clean set-up, but when you deal with 20 year old turbos that were only installed on 1 specific vehicle then you get what you get.
If you went with T4 mounted turbos, then you can buy whatever you want.

beat the hell out of spending hours with a die grinder.
I have another stock intake Y coming here in the next hour, hopefully.
but todays project is inner fenders.
if either of you are curious about the build...
