Hard starting

Haven't driven the truck in 4 months and now it takes a few more seconds 3-5 more than usual. Changing fuel filter right now, any other ideas? I have tried leaving key on and waiting longer to turn it over but no difference.

how old is the oil?
GPR engaging?
what temp is it there?

I find that to be normal if they sit for a long time. All three of mine did it, maybe not 3-5 seconds but a couple anyway.

^^^^ True, the FIRST time you start it after sitting for a long time. Happens to both our trucks. But the OP is implying that every start is slow now.

Test your battery's and starter, slow/weak crank will cause a truck to take longer to start.
