Just looking for suggestions on 4" suspension lifts for a 79 f250. I used to have a 79 bronco that I stupidly sold, but I have a 6" skyjacker lift on it. Just wondering if there's any others people seem to like. Thanks
I like superlift, however I am not sure they are still making the kit. Skyjacker stuff is good as well I think. Ranchoprobably makes a nice kit for these trucks in 4" or 6"
I've been looking at some. Rancho didn't show anything for that year. Rough country has their 4" system for $750 compared to skyjacker at 1700. I have a rough country on my f350 superduty and it's not to bad. This won't be my daily driver so if it's a little rough I'll chalk it up to being a cool old pickup haha
I have a Rough Country on the front of my blue truck, front springs settled differently. When it comes off, I am throwing it in the trash and going with Skyjacker, like on my red truck. If you were closer you could have it for help taking it off....
I believe Rocky Mountain has free shipping? Suspension lift kits - Ford F250 Just get the front leafs ($750) or the complete kit thru RM for only ($1381.00), that beats $1700. FYI even with the new Skyjacker rear leafs you have to reuse the one OEM block.
You will also need a drop pitman arm, adjustable steering link, either work over your brake lines or get longer ones. Skyjacker has steel braided ones. No need to lengthen d/s or e brake cables for a 4".
