I don't want to appear lazy but I can't narrow my search down to a reasonable amount of threads....so... (I'm not transmission/transfer case literate, HA!). My neighbor just had a malfuntion in his 1972 F250 4speed w/ a 390 ci. engine with the "housing/yoke?" connecting the borg warner 1345-21 to the 4 speed transmission. Could someone tell me what it is called. One of the ears broke. He does not know the history of this truck and I'm beginning to think that not only the transfer case but also the engine has been swapped. He pulled the tag off the transfer case and here's some #'s :
3J006 1345-21
119208 E3TA-GB.
Like I mentioned,, I don't mind searching for an answer, just hoping for a push in the right direction.
Thanks for any input.

Sounds like you talking about the output Universal Yoke.
Count the spline teeth the width the u-joint and cup width when ordering one.
Or take it the yoke to a driveline shop.
PS TELL HIM TO BUY A MANUAL BOOK SO HE CAN LEARN!
This how we learned..

Borg Warner W1345 Transfer Case: 1983/86 F250/350 4WD
Actually I think he needs the adapter housing between the T-18 or T-19 trans and the transfer case as it is a married case, not like the old divorced Dana 24 and NP 205 cases.

E3TA-7A195-GB T/C is from a 1983/86 F250/350 4WD
E1TZ-7B214-A flange is shown in pic and listed under E3TA-7A195-GB for the front and rear output.
Since the T/C has been swapped, has the trans also been swapped? 1967/77 F250 4WD (High Boys) would have had a divorced T/C originally.

Yep, that's the part. ( 4x4 Adapter Housing for Ford Borg Warner 4 Speed (T18/T19) )
Thanks...now it's time to crawl under that puppy and locate the trans. ID. and see if I can find a number/ID on the ADAPTER HOUSING. Great time of year to do this...been raining here in Oregon for months and just the proper amount of mud to contend with.
Thanks to all....and this site has more knowledge than any book!! HA!
