Got the driver's side nerf bar mounted today. And it works! Makes it easy to get in and out. Here are some shots:

You know what they say "looks good from my house" j/k
It does look good.

I have been looking at other trucks with bars and they all seam to be even with the out side of the tires. Cant tell anything else as this is all spotted when driving.

I would love to find a set of the 90's (I think it was) Ford molded running boards for mine as I like the look of the one posted before on here.

Gary, Here are some pictures of the grab handles I installed in my 86 F350.They are from a Expedition. I had to re shape the mounting area to get the angle I wanted and remove the ridge to get a flat surface on the handle mounting face. . I used 1/4" heavy Nut certs in the "A" pillar. hold down bolts are 1/4 20 button head Allan bolts 3/4" long. I removed the "A" pillar plastic cover to do the work. These have ben in service for 6 years with no problems. There is a small amount of flex but is not at the mounting it is the handle its self.

Excellent! Thanks! I'm not ready to do it, but that looks like a good way to go when I am. Thanks again.
