Ok Put the long piece in the big hole the shaft goes into. It will go in sideways. There should be an opening on one side for it to slide in. Then from the top put the spring in and the ball on top. Depress and put the shaft back through.

We never talked about putting that shaft back it. You were supposed to put the bottom one in first. It will be a lot easier if we take the proper sequence to get this done. Let's not get ahead of ourselves .

Push the bottom shaft back out and remove the bearing and spring and the sideways pin. THEN push the center shaft back out watching out for parts. THEN put the lower shaft parts back in and put the shaft in. It will go this time. Let me know when you have done ONLY this.

Has the center shaft cleared the hole on the right? If not make it clear the hole and watch out for parts. Then tap or lightly hit the end of the bottom shaft so the end of the left side of the shaft is just at the edge of the opening. Look at it on post 56. You want it to look like that. Page 4
