New Titan Fuel Tank

I did not see it posted elsewhere and in the event no one wanted to open up the dreaded 34/29 gallon tank thread and missed this.

Titan is pre-ordering their 55 Gallon tank for the shortbed 17 F250 right now. Supposed to be shipping in June.

So how does the truck know it's 55gal instead of 36? ForScan?
At over $1000 I took a pass. Now your stinkers are going to cost me $811... I need to stay off of this thing.

Are there any concerns with the Titan fuel tank? For example will it make it difficult to drain water from the filter or to drop the spare? Besides sitting 1 1/2 inches lower what other challenges could come into play?

Its my understanding that you have to take it to the dealership and they can program the truck to know it now has a 55 gallon tank. Last I read, forscan was not able to write to that module yet, so the dealership has to do it.
