Question Putting videos on computer?

Is it possible to put videos from a camcorder on the computer? I have camcorder that uses mini-VHS tapes. Are there any special programs needed? My computer has Realplayer, Window Media Player, and Windows movie maker.

Yes! One of my favorite things. What you're missing is video capture software which costs about $100. Included is a video capture card that plugs in easily inside your PC. It's better if your computer is not to old or slow. Once the software is installed you play the camcorder tape through the computer and save/edit the parts that you want. After, you export what you've created into any of several movie formats and play them on the programs you listed. If your clips are small enough you can email them around, or you can get fancy and host them on the web.
