I had this code come up several times. For me it originally started when the ambient temperature was about 10F out. I had cleared the code a couple of times but it would still come back. It went into the dealer for testing and repair. According to the dealer, they couldn't find anything wrong but ran an update anyway. When driving home from the dealer the code popped again. Go figure. Long story short, I haven't had the code pop again since then. As mentioned earlier, I too believe the code is set to tight. I didn't have any drive ability issues when the code was active other then the remote start would not work.
If it was me at this point I would just clear the code and see if it comes back.
