F350 Arrives!

My 2017 Lariat 6.7L Supercab was ordered 2/16/17 & arrived 3/29/17. It is a white platinum over caribou with the machined aluminum 20" rims, no chrome package. I have a few dealer add ons & a problem with my stowable bed ramps that needs to be resolved before I accept delivery. In addition to the ramps I ordered a tailgate ladder & the two options conflict. The ramp package includes a metal plate that fits over the tailgate & provides a place to attach the ramps. The ladder slides out fine but the hand/arm support won't latch into place because the plate interferes. I hope there is a fix but the ramp package isnt the most common feature so I'm a little worried. Also I ordered a Extang tonneau that as it turns out can't be installed because the ramps when stowed block the tonneau rails from being installed. I guess I need a tonneau that doesn't require rails on the side of the bed. If anyone has suggestions please let me know

That is a classy looking truck! I always like a two-tone paint job. The 20" machined wheels set it off nicely.

Congrats, great looking truck!

Question, are you going to install rear fender liners or spray the exterior of the box black/bedliner etc? When the wheel well is all balck it looks so much more "even". It really shows up on the light colored trucks and why I ordered fender liners. It has drove me crazy on my Lariat F150!

Looks beautiful! That is my favorite color combo and you rarely see that configuration anymore.

What a beautiful pickup, on what sadly seems to be becoming a rare combo.

Ramps

I have both the ramps and tailgate step in my 2015 F-150. There is no conflict. The ramps and steps are the same in the Superduty. Should work fine there also.

Happy Trails

Thanks for all the complements. Yes wheel well liners are one of the add ons I ordered. I have already had the Line-X done, after the photo was taken. Concerning the ramp/ladder combo - that's good to hear they work in the F150. Maybe the ladder handle can be adjusted to allow it to lock in. Question to Screamingbear - Did you add a tonneau cover? If so, any problems with clearances when the ramps are stowed & which tonneau did you go with?

Hello Dan1954,
I do have an Extang Trifecta Tonneau.
The ramps are not mounted in the stow position now, so I do not know if there is any interference. I do not think there will be as the Trifecta sits on top of the bed rails, however I will check this weekend, and let you know.
That is assuming the rain and snow ever stops here, and we are not underwater by then !!

Happy Trails

Great looking truck! My ole' F150 is that same scheme and I really wanted it on my F250. But the one I fell in love with was on the lot and just a solid white truck.

You're going to love that extended running board. I've already used mine quite a bit. Hope you get everything buttoned up and squared away quickly so you can get some seat time with your new whip!
