Did I mess up

Just sold the e40d to a guy that came out of my truck. I gave him pretty much everything that went with the automatic transmission including the fly wheel, the spacer that went behind it and the round washer that had all the bolt holes in it that went on the outside of the flywheel. Someone please tell me I don't need that spacer that went behind the fly wheel when swapping over to a manual . I don't think I do, but not sure.
