Hey guys, I am going to need to replace the calipers on the new front axle sooner than later. I got on RockAuto and saw a bunch of different brands, all over the price range. Anyone have experience with any of these brands?
Cardone, Nastra, Raybestos, Motorcraft (of course), AC Delco, Wagner.
Cheapest: Wagner
Expensivest: Motorcraft
Any suggestions? I just want to make the right purchase, especially with something like brakes.
Just a shout out for Napa calipers. I drove my Excursion today to find out that a caliper is sticking. I found my receipt and looked the part number up. The Napa Eclipse calipers have a limited lifetime warranty on them. I called the store and they said to bring it down with the receipt for an even trade. They did ask if they had been replaced before or not. Here is a link to the warranty page(albeit these are super duty calipers, but I am assuming that the calipers for our trucks would have the same warranty).
I replace all calipers with the Napa Eclipse brand. They are excellent. They come coated, with new brackets slide pins to brackets new boots etc. they are very nice. I've used them on 5 different vehicles so far with no issues

Just got them installed and bled. Took a little over an hour including running to the store for brake fluid. And I didn't even make that much of a mess!
