1976rustbucket did you find your problem? Have a neighbor having the same issues and he could hear his turbo and now you can't hear anything and it smells rich from the exhaust. Smokes a little until warm also.

I thought mine had a loud turbo whistle sound but it was the EBPV that was making all the noise.

I even seen some others sound the same and shrugged it off last year until I wired it open this spring for kicks.

Neighbor can touch the exhaust side of the turbo after running in the driveway idling and reving up for 20min. any suggestions?
