Yes I agree that both daughters appreciate much more what it takes to build a Bronco now. Also just an appreciation for hard work and how it pays off. The body is a "Kentrol" My dad bought the body in about 1992. When I did the 1st restoration of this Bronco.

yess indeed! And I say a cage is needed just as much on the road as off. Especially nowadays when off-roading is not in the picture for most Broncos.
After all, if you roll it on the street chances are you were going fast enough to do some damage. Or even if you were standing still and someone racing a Porsche in their F450 Dually SuperDuty gave you a love tap (whacked good!) a cage will still save a head or three. And that's priceless...

Heck, even driving a freeway after forgetting to latch the hood will show you the value of a full cage!
One guy got knocked loopy when the hood flipped back and over the windshield frame and bonked him just enough. Luckily the wife was riding shotgun and was able to steer the vehicle to the side of the road. Cage would'a come in handy I'm thinking.

So you never know. Besides, a cage just looks purposeful on these rigs. Only Broncos that look good without them are totally stock and practically naked ones.

Congrats on the finish line being in site.
And just in time for a high-schooler to take ownership of it too!

Paul
