Lift Kit

It's been awhile guys, how's everyone doing? Need some help. I am trying to find a good Body Lift for my Expedition. It is a 2001, XLT, 2 wheel drive. I go camping and trail riding alot and I want to lift it a little and run some 33's. I am thinking a 3 inch lift should do it. I considered a full suspension lift, but they are way too expensive to just run 33's to go camping and trail riding. I am not building a bogger, just a good trail truck. Any suggestions on brand of body lift?

I have a truxxx lift on my 03. I'm sure it is easier to do than a body lift and it doesn't have any wierd gaps or anything. Supposed to be able to fit up to 35" tire. But I don't kow if they make it for the 01. you could check.

The angles on your truck are pretty solid already. The best thing for you, since you have 2wd, is to get good tires. That will be the thing keeping you from getting stuck. If you're worried about getting "hung up" then you'll need a suspension lift. A body lift will only give you better approach and departure angles, not breakover angles.

Here are pics of my Expys before they were sold.

That's what it looked like with the Body lift and the nice 285/--/r16 tires. They looked great and were amazing in the snow, compared to the ones on the blue expy.

The ride on that red one was TERRIBLE on the highway and it had a lot of sway, front/rear, and side to side. Boy did it look good though
