I use both FORScan and Torque Pro with a WiFi ELM327 device. It is a personal preference on which you will like. I suggest getting both and trying each. They are both less than $5.
Personally I like the FORScan better for a few reasons. It is much easier to use, easier to data log, has more options for PID's, it reads codes really well, and it provides feedback to the codes and possibilities of the issue causing the code.
Torque Pro is much more customizable as far as displays and being able to program PID's into the application if you know the programming.
Either way you will be happy.
EDIT: Wanted to add that if you have a laptop and you use a WiFi OBD connector, you can get the Windows version of FORScan for free. You can almost do anything with the Windows based FORScan that the high dollar ones are doing...almost. FORScan for Windows can do many of the vehicle tests like the buzz test.
I started down the path of an android tablet with torque pro and Bluetooth. Waiting for my obd connector to come in. Now I just need to figure out what to monitor.
I too use the Dashboss with my iPhone or iPad with Bluetooth.
With Dashboss, you can monitor 24 parameters with both the digital view and analog view.
I know others are probably tired of seeing my attachment but here my digital view currently.
One nice feature is if you align your desired parameters, top to bottom, you can then view your "logs" with that same data together on the same page as seen in the second page. Many times, I want to see what speed or rpm's the engines at compared to the other parameters. I'd see boost, vgt's rpms and with speed with the first view ( middle column).
Keep in mind my two pages below don't align with each other, so you can't use these as an example.
