Hey guys I have a 5.0 302 with a aod swapped into my 1977 f100 and thought y'all could be of some help with my confusion. I'm trying to do a koer test but because of code 67 I can't. I replaced the neutral back up switch to no avail. Checked the wiring I got nothing. I didn't swap in a neutral safety switch from the donor and I'm thinking this could be the problem?? Any help is appreciated, if I can bypass it to do the test that works but I would rather fix the problem if possible
Service Code 67 indicates that during Self-Test, voltage was high on NDS (Pin 30) or ACCS (Pin 10) circuit.
NOTE: Verify A/C selector is off (and shift selector is in PARK for E40D vehicles).
i was doing some more reading after i couldnt figure it out and found out that if the white/pink wire coming from pin 30 to the ignition switch isnt tied into the wire that connects to the neutral safety switch, will cause code 67 to be thrown. on a manual transmission you can ground pin 30 to get rid of it but that doesnt work the same with an automatic. im wondering if that wire (pin 30) is getting a constant 12v instead of maybe just a start 12v.
On standard transmission with the 4.9L engine the clutch has to be held down to break the circuit to pin #30 during the running of the self-test or you will get this code.
Anything work to resolve the code? I Have an E4OD that won't shift to overdrive. Getting code 67. Been trying to resolve this and have lost my dome and cluster lights now. So more to fix while I'm trying to fix this KOEO OBD1 code 67.
