Windshield Washer Bag

I bought a bag from Dennis Carpenter for my 1966. He didn't have mounting bracket s listed. Bought the Bracket from LMC . Bracket arrived today and it matched a set of empty holes drilled in the fender apron.
the bracket hooks are about 6 inches apart and the mounting holes in the bag are 8 inches apart.
Is this correct? Bag hangs funny.

Just measured the original bracket on my 66 and it it's just a little under 8 inches wide. Sounds like your bracket from LMC is not sized right.

Thanks. Don't see a 8 inch bracket available at LMC ... Anyone have one ?
i could cut mine in half and spread it out but would rather have the correct bracket.

There are three different bags, two different brackets, as it depends if the washers were factory or dealer installed.

This is the only bracket I could find, you'll have to call the source to find out its length.
