1965 F100 Windshield Washer Setup

OK fellow FTEers
Im in need of the washer bag, mountIng braket and WASHER pump for my F100. I've checked eBay and the bags seem to be priced very high and I can only find the Mustang bracket, not the wider truck bracket. Any help appreciated!

John,
The washer bag holder is simply a piece of steel-about an inch wide...it has two
notches in it and is then bent 90 deg. on each end....you could easily make one
that would look original...someone may pop up who has one...but if not, just make
your own, as when the bag is installed, you barely see it anyways. (See photo)

I agree with the bag prices...quite expensive.

John would you be opposed to using a 70s plastic box tank. It has the pump in the bottom, fits the same area, and unless you were competing at a show, I doubt it would make a lot of difference to anyone else.

Not real keen on using the plastic as I'm trying to go back orginal as much as possible, but its always a back-up option.

ND,
can you give me the full part number for the reservoir bag bracket? I researched FTE and found a parts page you posted to an old post with the middle being "17651", but I need the prefix and suffix so I can do a NOS parts search. 1965 F-100, 2WD, 240CI. Thanks in advance!!!

I'm not ND, but the part number looks like it should be

C4AZ-17651-A

It looks like Scott Drake reproduces the part. At least the part number is the same. MSRP is $5.95.

Lots of options for where to buy one.

Scott Drake Store - Reservoir Mounting Bracket

Lots of options for where to buy one.

Let me google that for you
Thanks, I checked with Drake and this is the short bracket -- 5 5/8". I need the long bracket - 7 1/4" to fit the wide washer bag.

Ya, wondered about that. The parts book just says

65/68 F100/350 - Used with switch-actuated washer - C4AZ-17651-A

There should be about a million of the longer ones out there in used condition. CamperSpecial65 might have one.

I did converse a bit with CamperSpecial65 just now and he is about 99% sure he has one. He's not on the forums as much lately so I will send you a private message with his e-mail address (cleared with CS65 already).
