Transmisson Servicing
I have googled and looked at the manuals to my 09 F-150 and it has the 6 Speed Automatic transmission. The manual states its a service-less transmission and google says so too. I am triple checking that this truck is servicesless right? I took my truck in to get the oil changed and Ford said a transmisson flush is recommended and this other shop I took it too said the same thing are they trying to get more money out of me? I normally do my own maintenance on other trucks but this one I have Ford do it. I am heading back home from Texas to California and it did fine going form California to Texas. The truck has 204,000+ on it right now.

It looks like Ford did a lousy job on the manual for the '09 model year. The language in the manual is garbage and the supplementary "scheduled maintenance manual" is more of a ad for Motorcraft parts. No wonder you had a hard time getting a decent answer. With that said, on page 28 of that I was able to find the recommendation to change fluid at 150k. That's the same interval recommend on my '13 with 6R80 transmission
