Im looking to get new wheels for my 2011 F 250 SD 6.7 Diesel. Crew cab. There are 20 inch rims on it now and I would like to stay with 20inch rims. After looking at some wheels/rims I noticed they have a max weight rating. I was unable to find any good answers about what weight rating I should be looking for in a wheel/rim. I will be towing about 10K-16K pounds. The tire size I have now is 295/65 20. Any help or place I can educate myself on the topic would be appreciated.
Yes the tires do have the load rating. I am asking about the wheel/rim weight rating and how you determine what you need and how to tell if you are getting the right ones.
Thank you for responding

consider downsizing your wheels. The cost delta on 20" tires is significant compared smaller wheel diameter tires
Your rear gvwr is 6340lbs. You want wheels, and tires that will at least match that. I bought 18" wheels with a 3500 lbs rating, giving me 7000lbs total on the rear. You should have no trouble finding wheels in a 20" that will work. Larger wheels usually have a higher rating, it's the physics of a circle.

Thank you for the explanation. I was thinking that is how it worked but I wanted to get a clear answer. I have found many rims in a 20that will work.
Thanks again
