The variation from truck to truck is confusing Joel. Unless it is indeed a 11-14 thing vs. 15-16?

The dash gage is a very much filtered version of the PIDs in the system. Mine will burn down to around 30% typically, then the regen shuts off, and it goes down another 5%. I have never seen the dash gage drop due to passive regen, though it will stop increasing at a number and stay there awhile. In the mean time, the PIDs as shown on Forscan will go down, if EGT14 is up over 750 or so. This is on a '15, true before and after the flash.

I believe that Ford 'dumbed down' the dash gage to keep from confusing people. Like they did with the oil pressure gage in the past. Watching the numbers on Forscan or Torque pro will give you a much finer grained picture of what is happening.
