Personal vehicles? I will have to have a conversation with my accountant. I don't think it will be hard to beat 6% from 19,500 on a sale.

Another good conversation with the minister of finance last night. We discussed the truck and others I added to my watch list once this deal appeared to go south. She pointed out I keep looking at 2016 250s for the deals but only find diesels. I'm not able to get the price I want and perhaps this is due on part to the diesel up charge. I said that I don't need or really want a diesel, but have been going for the supposed deals. She said then stop looking at the stupid diesels. Stupid was not the word she used but you get the gist.
This makes sense and helped me see that I was chasing deals but sacrificing what I want for a perceived deal.
After this discussion i have decided to pursue only one more vehicle: the 2017 250 king ranch w/6.2. It is cheaper then the 2016 ones and not diesel.
We we will see what this approach brings.

Sometimes you just have to take a step back and reassess what you want. A fee years back I was looking for a used F150 to use when we are at our home base to keep miles off the dually. All I was finding was rusty beat up rolling piles of junk, the boss stepped in and said we have never owned rusty trucks and we aren't going to start now. Ended up finding a nice clean 2003 F150 XLT , little more money than i wanted to spend but it was worth it.

Yeah, I've never had much luck selling anything on Craigslist unless it was a 5-6k or under deal, even asking very fair prices. You could put your truck on there for 15k, and someone would still want to offer you 12k. I miss the days of news papers and bargain mart classifieds, with no texting when it comes to selling. Put a for sale sign on it, that can get more attention than anything.
