Yes, it is concentrate from my local Tractor Supply. Here is a link:

OK. I had a lot of time on my hands today, so I got it all completed just a few minutes ago. HOWEVER, when I got ready to post it up, I noticed it was too large and had to go back into the file and trim some of the pictures to reduce the overall file size.

Now it's DONE.

Look it over and let me know if there is anything glaringly incorrect or missing, and I can tweak it tomorrow.

NOTE: PDF moved down into Post #38 below.

Thanks for all of good information. Parts are ordered. I decided to go with the OEM Motorcraft pump. Plan to flush out all of the coolant and replace with Rotella ELC. Will also replace hoses, belt, and anything else that looks tired while I'm in there. That should set my truck's cooling system up better than new and ready for another 150,000 miles.

Just a note for others who are easily confused like me, the International/Navistar water pump available from Riffraff and DieselOrings is not the same thing as the International T444E water pump with a filter that people refer to as the IH pump upgrade.

You should also replace the thermostat (I assume you knew this, but you didn't list it in your last post) and consider replacing the thermostat housing with a billet one. Another thing to consider is getting the longer upper hose so it snakes around the outside of the belt. The stock configuration sees the upper hose run through the belt, meaning the hose has to come off to change the belt. Use a zip-tie to secure the upper hose to the alternator bracket, it's made for it.

I just found the genuine Alliant T444E pump (1831676C92, 1889249C91) at several places online (with the filter provision AP63581):

Swamps - $263 with FREE shipping --- ding-ding-ding-ding-ding ... WINNER

BK Diesel - $263 with FREE shipping --- ding-ding-ding-ding-ding ... WINNER

Rochester Diesel - $264 PLUS shipping costs

US Diesel Parts - $282 PLUS shipping costs

HD Engine Parts - $283 PLUS shipping costs

PSC (Pascal Service Corporation) - $295 PLUS shipping costs ($20 to Birmingham, AL)

Diamond Diesel - $307 PLUS shipping costs ($40 to Birmingham, AL)

Zimmey's Diesel Performance - $307 PLUS shipping costs

FINALLY... My LOCAL IH Parts Dealer has the same pump listed for about $425 PLUS TAX

Thermostat and leaking housing were my original problem. I did also order the longer upper hose. What about the fan clutch? What is common practice for replacing it with the water pump on these trucks?

That's a great write-up, F250. Hopefully, it gets added to the tips sticky or some other place where it can be found easily.

I'm always glad to do this whenever I can, and I've fixed the document title.
