transmission help!
Hello, I have a 1997 f250 7.3l power stroke turbo diesel. The transmission pan started to leak so I had to drop the pan and put on a new gasket. I refilled the transmission with new fluid and the torque converter now rattles and scratches, its a mess. What should I do please help!!!

Hi,
Not much can go wrong changing the gasket. As long as you used the correct fluid and the right amount.
Maybe you knocked the filter or pickup loose?
I would drop the pan and check my work.
If you didn't change the filter. You might want to do that while you are in there if it's old.
Make sure all electrical connectors in the area are tight and clean.
