Tranmission leak
The issue is with a 1997 F250 7.3 turbo diesel with an automatic overdrive transmission. The truck is about to hit 200,000 miles and I honestly do not have a lot of history behind the truck other than the last year I have owned it.
The transmission is leaking at the pan gasket which woudl appear to be an easy fix although the problem is that when I noticed it leaking I did replace the gasket along with the filter. The inside of the transmission looked relatively normal with a normal amount of cleaning required. Fluid looked decent and no signs of an issue coming in my opinion although I was never a transmission guy. I put a new fel-pro gasket on and about two weeks later it started leaking from the same area on the back of the pan gasket. I am hoping someone may have a bit of advice about this issue, Maybe it needs the OEM gasket or is it possible to have a pressure relief issue if applicable to this transmission.
I know it is long although I truly appreciate any assistance I may get.

Maybe the pan is a bit warped from being improperly torqued. You will need to drop the pan to seal it. While it is off check to see if the flange is flat. You should get a rubber gasket for the pan and/or some form-a-gasket and re-install the pan.
