IDI blue smoke
I have a 1994 IDI turbo and it smokes when you giver some, or towing, etc. Its a blue smoke, the cdr is not hooked up as I have a custom intake, it has a turbo that says " Canadian Turbo Systems Inc" on it, just looking for ideas on what it could be? There is no blue smoke at idle .

Advance the timing a couple of degrees. 99% chance it'll improve the situation.
IDIs burn engine oil cleanly; don't worry about vapors, blow by or anything like that. It's just retarded timing and/or failing injectors(this would produce more smoke at idle though if an injector was leaking)
