Hi guys. I was reading about cab swaps. Contemplating a 84 to 95 swap. One of the threads mentions that the 80-86 cowl is longer and I will need spacers? Can anyone clarify what this means please? Can I use my 84 cowl on the 95 cab? Just trying to do all the homework before I commit! Any info would be appreciated!!!

I'm no authority, having never done anything with either cabs or cowls, but from reading the thread you linked to I get the idea that the spacers in question move the fenders outward very slightly, to allow the cowl enough room to go in. I'm sure someone who knows more will be along shortly.
