Cruise not working

My adaptive cruise is not working. Probably due to truck being dirty. But when I go to settings and turn it off and set it to normal. It stil tells me adaptive cruise is not available when I try to set normal cruise. Anyone encounter this?

is your traction control off? in 4wd or low tire light on? all will cause it not to work
