Ray's Automotive in Culpeper, VA is fixing some shoddy work done in the past by a dealer in GA. Lo
oking forward to getting 200k+ miles out of this thing!
when I watched his videos and independently researched his advice it seemed perfectly sound to me. The dealer I bought the truck from was in that area, but instead we are having the work done closer to home.
Forums don't seem to like him ( personality issue ? I'm not sure ) but he isn't wrong in what he is says.
Camo, he gets a lot of stuff right, but it's interspersed with nuggets of wrong here and there so it's dangerous for newbs to think his info is irreproachable.
He's had his "tech info" sussed out over the years and the general consensus is he gets just enough wrong that people should avoid him, because for the uninitiated, they won't know when he gives bad info.
Bad info given at a place like this will usually get fixed over time, through people who know and try to eliminate the bad info being posted (like Cody when it comes to injectors and tuning, etc), but Bills info doesn't get corrected.
There are a lot of other resources that are so much more accurate and correct that that fool. Diesel Tech Ron is one that comes to mind (RIP).

Like I said, Forums don't seem to like him but he isn't wrong.
When it comes to "bullet proofing" it really comes down to opinion or put another way, doesn't matter how you polish it, it's still a turd.
I have read some of the post "investigating" his tech and in my opinion it was done by hacks. Hacks with strong forum presence and localized following but low quality tech or practical knowledge of their own. I don't buy the consensious and as yet nobody that I have seen has actually pointed out something he gets wrong. The worst I've seen is that he sells or seems to push some products that are no the cool guy popular parts.
