My Ex came without the power side windows in the back, so I have two blanks where the switches would be in the overhead console. I was thinking of putting a couple of LED's in the openings to provide a little more light in that area up front and have them both switched and connected to the overhead courtesy/dome lights. I was just wondering if anyone had done this before and what lights were used. I'd like to find something that would fit nicely into the openings if possible.
I've already had it out once when I installed the computer (mine came without that, too). I wish I had thought about the lights when I had it out before. I need to make a list.....as my wife is always telling me.

Oddly, being as mine is a fairly stripped down SSV XLT, the interior lights shut off automatically after a few minutes. At least they do if a door is open. I tried it with the hatch and they seem to stay on. Maybe it wasn't open long enough. I guess the other possibility is that Ford figured if the hatch was open, that meant you were loading/unloading and needed the light.
