Talking Networking Again!

I have seen many threads on here about networking and it has got me thinking. I have 2 computers (one desktop and one latop) as well as a Playstation 2. I have a router right now and everything is working pretty good except I would like to have a (mostly) wireless network. My Playstation HAS to be hard wired into the router. I would like my laptop and desktop to be wireless. I was thinking of putting my laptop and playstation in the basement. My dsl high speed internet modem was going to be in the basement as well. My desktop was going to be wireless and in the exact same spot as the laptop and PS2 except for 2 floors up in my house. I am assuming the PS2 and laptop would perform the exact same way as they are now but I was kind of concerned about the desktop. Would the internet perform at the same speed as it is now? Here is the setup I was thinking about getting http://www.staples.ca/products/catal...erCategoryId=3 I know this is Wireless-B. What is the difference between this and Wireless-G? Thanks for the help guys!

I cant get the link for some reason. 802.11b is 11Mbps and G is 54Mbps. Depending on your net connection ( I don’t know the speed of dsl) I doubt you’ll notice any difference. Also linksys makes a wireless adapter for game consoles. http://www.linksys.com/products/prod...id=38&prid=558

Also this should answer most of you questions. Even though its brand bias
