It is a one ton truck designed to regularly have 2500+ lbs in the bed and/or 12,000+ lbs of trailer behind it everyday. Because of that it is going to ride hard when it has no load, get used to it.

A crew cab also has a longer wheelbase than a supercab which will help with ride too.

I've been inquiring about how to soften up the ride on my own F250, and I was told that my truck came with the snow plow-ready stiffer springs on it to help it carry the plow's extra weight. that non - plow trucks usually run softer because they don't come with those stiff springs. only you know if yours came ready for a plow. that could be part of the problem. BTW, Biggie is a crew cab.

Magnum, I have been researching how to smooth my ride as well. I'm not looking to turn it into a Lincoln Continental - just quiet down and not so bumpy. As I said in my post I drove a 2015 similar to mine and it had a much smoother ride. That truck was empty, not towing, and still better. I have the 2008 F350 PSD crew 8f SRW pictured in my avatar. It is plow ready. Seems similar to what you had. I am trying to determine whether to change my wheel size and/or tire size. I have 20 inch Ford rims w275/65R20E tires. What did you have on your 2008?

first,I found out that my truck came with the snow plow package, heaver coil springs, talking to dealer to find regular springs, found a pair on I-CARDI,to make the ride smoother,as far as my 2008 I kept the 20in size but went with a more aggressive one,BF GOODRICH ,hope that helps.
