Ok, so I'm almost ready to order my first F350. *sniff*sniff* and I'm at an impass on a rather petty problem...
What color schemes did ya'll choose? I'm looking at the F350 CC, FX4, long box, non-dually, with 6.0L PSD but cannot make up my mind. Do you have a side picture to support your answer?
I bought a 03 CC Arizona Beige w/Tan Interior...great color, doesn't show dirt at all, and washes easily. I'm in construction, wish I would have gotten the leather, the tan cloth seats get dirty easy, and they shed fine strings from the pattern in the material.
I'm in the market for a new F-350 and won't buy any except "sonic" blue. I may go leather in the lighter but if not I think the XLT sport two-tone cloth looks pretty sweet.
BTW I'm going V-10. PSD is too scary to buy just now and I won't tow very often, probably just a slide-in camper.

Petty Problem
I bought the two-tone paint and went for black w/ silver. Check out my gallery. I love the color, and think it goes great with my chromed accessories. The only trouble with black is keeping it clean. But it's worth the effort.
Just my 2 cents -- you have to decide your own. Do you also ask for help picking out the right color shirt? Just messing...
Until they start putting the paint on more than a micron thick, I'm not getting another dark color. I can't walk by the truck without a scratch showing up. I should have ordered the white, since they discontinued Harvest Gold.
I have the 03 with Arizona Beige. It shows dirt and stone dings alot less. I've always liked darker colors, but you can't keep them clean very long. So far I've had good luck with my 6.0l. Strongest engine I've ever owned.
Buy Silver and you'll never buy another color. Won't show scratches, and always looks clean. My last truck was silver now i'm a red man. Red is good but silver is the best.
I find myself always reconsidering white for all the regular reasons
but there is one disadvantage not mentioned. I had a white toy for some years and when around the truck but not in it like at a campsite, the glare off it was terrible. Of course here in the southwest the sun is a bit more intense than many other parts of the country. .02
I have two all black vehicles...
the wifes '02 Lincoln LS V8 and 'our' '03 Ex 4x4 6.0L....
The LS has chrome accents, but the the Ex is ALL black except the wheels and one tiny strip down each side...
You're right -
A dirty black vehicle is the worst color around...
but a CLEAN black vehicle is RIGHT !
and unfortunately, they ARE the hardest things to keep clean, but again, BOY they look GOOD when clean...
And although I've had an Ex since August of '02, I've never cleaned one...
There's a commercial car wash down the street that does a GREAT job... but to beat the competition, they also offer an Express exterior wash where YOU drive it through and it cost $5.00 !!!!
I'd use $5.00 worth of water cleaning the Ex and it takes all of 10 minutes to drive through the car wash....
even then....
if the garage is full and I've had to leave the Ex out in the sun a few days, it's worth it to go get the car washed just to COOL that big black beauty down quickly !!!
