Petty Problem
True there... my black beast looks great only when it's been recently bathed in soap & water, or when it's covered head-to-toe in mud. Anything in between, though....
you'll regret black...it does look awesome the first day you bring it home...I owned one once, and after getting the light color, sure makes the wash/wax alot easier...plus, its not dirty looking all the time.
No, I won't regret it - had many black cars.... and I don't typically do the wash and waxing... $5 autowash and $35 mini-detail does it for me :-) Not that I'm lazy or can't do it - just like the black color - i choose not to :-)
I guess that's why they make SO many colors,
so we can each have what we want... reckon ?

Wasn't it Henry Ford that said you could have his cars in any color that you wanted, as long as it was "black".
When I bought my CC, the salesman told me that you can usually get a good deal if the dealer has a black truck in stock, because they are harder to sale due to the color...(this is a big LA Ford dealer, he also said when they park the trucks in front, they are getting closer to their flooring date and need to push those first) could have been salesman hype, but something to think about...
Originally posted by jdadamsjr I have two all black vehicles...
the wifes '02 Lincoln LS V8 and 'our' '03 Ex 4x4 6.0L....
The LS has chrome accents, but the the Ex is ALL black except the wheels and one tiny strip down each side...
That's funny, JD! My wife has an '02 Black LS V8 and I have a Black '03 F-350 CC...
And so you'll know what I mean when I say
HER car is MUCH more fun to drive through the twisties !!!
In fact, Our local chapter is going to a local closed circuit course for 'practice' racing...
